When the holy book admonished man to be a salt to his world, it meant that man should make life sweet for the fellow inhabitants of his world.

Indeed SALT is an agent of sweetening and at Pharma-Guide Nigeria, the sweetness we think about is HEALTH for our society. This is because we believe that only a healthy society can think of being wealthy and prosperous. We promote health primarily by sharing health and drug knowledge – we believe that at every moment we share information, a life or more will be touched, which has a capacity to save a life that would have been lost like many others due to ignorance of common issues concerning health and right use of drugs.

SALT is an acronym for SAVE A LIFE TOUR. This is a project aimed at touring various places (churches, schools, market places, villages, etc.) where vulnerable members of the society are found with the aim of disseminating vital health and drug information relevant to present day health and drug issues and needs.

The ideals of Pharma-Guide Nigeria are borne out of firstly, love for our society and the desire to keep people far away from preventable diseases and drug related problems – we believe radical information dissemination will save lives and put smiles on people’s faces.

Pharma-Guide Nigeria first started as a facebook page in 2013 (www.facebook.com/pharma-guide-nigeria) and later, in 2015, a blog (www.pharmaguidedigest.blogspot.com) came in alongside the health bulletin and mini-magazine, PHARMA-GUIDE DIGEST to continue to push forth our mandate. Our drive to improve upon our mandate has led us to initiate PROJECT SALT to take the information to our target population, some of whom may not be online or willing to read text. We are poised to do more and to get even better.

Finally, we solicit the support of well meaning individuals who believe in our efforts but who may not be able to carry out the activities to sponsor us and we shall not only deliver but promote our sponsors through these activities.
