PHARMA-GUIDE NIGERIA is glad to present to you the 2nd Edition of its publication, The Pharma-Guide Digest. In this Nov/Dec edition, we send our seasons greetings to all our readers and friends as well as wishes and prayers of a warm, memorable and happy yuletide and a prosperous new year ahead. We wish to congratulate Miss Nwachukwu Esther, a 400 level student of Imo State University for winning our puzzle contest in the premier edition and for her lovely message to Phasrma-Guide Digest. We also hope you read our drug tip and Inspirational Quote of the Month.

In this edition, we joined the world to lament the rising rate of Antibiotics abuse calling on all stakeholders and drug users (and patients) to join the fight against the abuse so that we dont find ourselves in a sad situation where infections become untreatable and millions of helpless lives lost.

With the increasing rate of sudden cardiovascular diseases-related deaths, efforts are being made to educate people about proper nutrition that's good for the vessels and heart hence we featured Avocado oil Derived from the Avocado pear and its many scientifically researched health benefits. Furthermore, we presented to you also, the concluding part of our article on Diet titled, STOP EATING OUT YOUR LIFE featuring this time, Dietary requirements for Growing Children and Adolescence as well as for infants and the importance of Breast feeding. Wow! It seems the whole page was designed for the youths; at the bottom line, prolific writer and seasoned young pharmacist, Kesiena Abanum inspires the youth with YOUNG, WILD AND FREE tasking them to channel their youthful energy, wild imaginations as well as incontestable freedom to positive and valuable ventures that will better their lives.

Finally, page 4 wraps it all up with pictures of some memorable events that took place within November. This edition features a bigger puzzle on Diabetes designed by an ardent supporter of PHARMA-GUIDE DIGEST project, Ms Ukachi Chinonyerem. Bearing in mind the celebration of World AIDS day on 1st December, we begun our sensitization about HIV/AIDS and campaign against Discrimination of people living with HIV/AIDS.
